Caston Open Gardens and Church festival ‘Nostalgia’
Saturday 29 June 2019 – Sunday 30 June 2019
10am – 5pm
Inspired by the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth in 1953, step back in time to the 1950’s through life sized knitted and crafted tableaux in Open Village Gardens, Holy Cross Church and the Village Hall. (NR17 1DD)
This will be a journey through family life in the 1950’s. Join in the fun and come dressed in 50’s gear. The open gardens will surely appeal to the gardening enthusiast alongside those keen knitters, needleworkers and crafters.
Those of you who visited the two Blossom and Yarn festivals will know you are in for a treat and something a little different from the norm. Come join us – refreshments, stalls, memorabilia and jigsaw exhibition will enhance this spectacular event and, who knows, you may have an audience with Her Knitted Majesty in full Coronation Regalia.
Cost and booking:
£5 Early bird ticket (before 1 June), £7 on the day. Children under 14 free
